07 July is Ryan’s birthday. We actually missed it on his actual day, so we have a belated with him last Sat.

We had ordered a Blueberry cream cheese cake for him. I personally like as well, hee so I end up helping him to clear half of his cake. Yes, this is a cake that is bake especially for dogs. I think he really love it (from the look when he ate it)

我最近又读了一本张小娴的书，是 Ms Ong 借我的散文 – “男人要的三份礼物”

读完后，我觉得这编文章蛮有意思 + 有趣的，所以要与大众分享。

男人要的三份礼物 – 张小娴

送礼物给男人是一件很头痛的事，

那些什么都没有的男人，你根本不会爱上他;

什么都有的男人，你又可以送什么给他呢?

衣服，领带，皮带，手表，公事包都送过了，没有什么新意。

送一辆新车给他，不是每个女人都付得起的，除非是用他的钱。

编织一件温暖牌的毛衣给他，也是好主意，可惜现在大部分女人都不会打毛衣。

每次想到要买礼物给男人，就觉得很无助，

每一样东西对他来说，也许不过是锦上添花或者可有可无。

送礼物给女人反而容易，单是宝石和珍珠就很多种。

每当女人问男人：“今年生日你想收到什么礼物?”

也是男人头痛的时候，他实在想不到自己还欠些什么，

他所欠的，根本是女人买不起的。

最后，女人只好用一份礼物的价值来表达自己的心意，

她花了一个月的薪水送一份贵重的礼物给他，

男人虽然感动，却会认为这个女人太爱花钱，不是个贤妻良母。

原来，男人最喜欢的礼物只有三份。

一顶高帽。不时向他送上一顶又一顶的高帽，称赞他，崇拜他。

倾慕的眼神。即使他做了一件很笨的事，你还是送上这样的眼神给他。

生命的安慰。让他知道，你会与他同甘共苦，你是他心灵的安慰。

他收到这三份礼物，就会送你很多礼物。

 

我最喜欢的是最后那一句。。。。

sky birthday celebration

Hmm a little busy for the past few weeks, unable to share the pictures for the restaurants we went for Sky’s birthday.

Irodori Japanese Restaurant

We have the Ala Carte Buffet for $33++ per pax.

The service provided was great, they changed our “dirty” plates for almost every few dishes and they were rather attentive to our needs. Food wise was not too bad as well, if I did not remember wrongly, there are 108 items to choose from. The only “bad point” is that they do not have desert under the buffet.

North Border Bar & Grill is the next restaurant that we went for dinner on Sky actual day. The ambience very nice & relaxing, service was good. As for food, hmm I will only give an average grade (though reviews are great for them). Well maybe is because we did not order their speciality.
